Why did the founders of our nation give us the Bill of Rights? The answer is easy. They knew Congress could not be trusted with our God-given rights. Think about it. If Walter Williams were to run for president of The US I would vote for the first time in my life. Anyone who really understands and appreciates what he writes should understand that no viable candidate in my lifetime, which goes back to Truman, has understood or appreciated the ideas Walter Williams routinely expresses in his articles. Walter Williams gets it. Liberals don't. Conservatives don't.
