Where did you get your information about this? From what I heard al-Sadr kicked their butts & then called off his militiamen with apparent victory at hand. The Iraqi army either had little will to fight or did not fight at all or deserted. Why spin this to make it look like the Iraqi army can take care of itself when they obviously can't?
