The media doesn't notice that the emperor has no clothes because they too are similarly attired. They go to the same parties, use the same drug dealers(as applicable), the same prostitutes and use the same slogans (green shoots being the newest). These people wouldn't be able to handle any idea that did not emanate from within the Beltway because they know that all wisdom resides therein, excepting Wall Streeet, of course. The reality is that America is led by incompetent, arrogant, self serving charlatans whose vision and planning are as far seeing as your average 10th grader. There's a cliff out there, but it's beyond our leaders ability to see.
