I believe in Socialized medicine. It takes the onus off the dollar and puts in on delivering health care. Many countries have successful socialized medicine that benefit the providers & recipients. Look no further than Canada then continue. Compare results of our healthcare system against any socialized system and what a failure. If it was successful would we even be having this discussion? The government handling of socialized medicine is what determines its success or failure. In this country, the lobbyists for the pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies have bought and paid for every vote against a healthy health care system here. The responsible handling of any system is what determines its success or failure. Considering most of our elected officials are in the pockets of big business, it probably will fail. Too bad.
