Congratulations, Mr. Simon, for finally coming to grips with what most black people have understood all along: that we are NOT in a post-racial society. And although you understandably chose to downplay race in the numbers, be honest: who gains the most from living in a so-called post-racial world? Whites. They were so quick to trumpet this false premise because it gave them the means to assuage their guilt, absolve their collective responsibility, and put the onus on minorities to solve problems they may not necessarily have created. This may be news to you and your readers, but this has been discussed in (at least) black households for generations.

Maybe if some of you actually sat down at our dinner tables once in a while, you'd understand.

B. Hussein Obama believes in empathy which is "liberal speak" for reverse discrimination. His comment about the cop acting stupidly only proves that he looks down his nose at white men and he hates whites. Worst he wants to spread the wealth around and make every one equal (sounds like fascism to me).
