The Bush regime has quagmired America into a sixth year of war in Afghanistan and Iraq with no end in sight. The cost of these wars of aggression is horrendous. Official U.S. combat casualties stand at 4,538 dead. Officially, 29,780 U.S. troops have been wounded in Iraq. Experts have argued that these numbers are understatements. Regardless, these numbers are only the tip of the iceberg.

The oil companies have been trying for years to drill for oil within our own country on land preserved and protected by laws and environmentalists. What better reason do they need than high oil prices and an economy in the toilet? It's coming..... and unlike science fiction stories where people are seeking protection from alien invaders, the reality is the alien invaders are here, we haven't recognized them or attacked them with weapons of mass destruction. They are masquerading as ourselves and positioned as our protectors. Truth, so much worse than fiction.
