Sir;.... Your brilliance underwhelmes me.... How long did it take to figure out we have been living on credit??? The financial sector accounts for over 90% of the profit in this country which means that interest is sucking the money out of every part of the economy... That's cool... And you say it is happening all over the world... What a surprise; but when high profits have taken all the wealth out of society there is nothing the government can do but redistribute some wealth, and put it in the hands of consumers... And I will tell you why... There is still plenty of wealth and capital in the hands of the little people, and the process of wealth distribution to the rich has only been interrupted by the fact that credit has not only sucked wealth to the point that it could not be assimilated, but money too, so that wealth at the lowest levels of society cannot be moved... If the grunts who have some wealth are allowed to starve for a while, they will disgorge it, even if below any reasonable expectation of value, but some one has to be on hand with money to make it move... The people find they have bought inflated, watered stock..tough....Their wealth has been drawn out of them... They will not have more wealth until they slave for it, or sell something of value...We may well be reaching the point where no little person has anything of value to sell... But we are not there yet... It is pointless to give the money directly to the rich, unless we consider that government money is national wealth... It is only a stop gap to give some money to the poor... What the rich really need is something like the black plague to kill off half the population and free up great mountains of capital and wealth...And, The rich might consider that their problems with working people and these chronic depressions are over if they purchace the civil rights of the workers with their labor... If workers can be induced to sell their birthrights for a square meal, they can then be allowed starve in the street...Problem solved...Dead men make no demands.... They never ask for enough of wages to pay the bills...The population has been made to live without on credit until the whole society is broke.....Like some woman on C-span said: We don't need more credit... We can't pay the credit we got...Sure lady... Why do you think you got credit instead of a fair deal???Do you think some one was being nice to you???? Think again....
