We Should Be Voting on the First Saturday in November

While Democrats continue to be embroiled in their ongoing war over counting votes in Florida and Michigan, everyone else seems to be focused on Nov. 5, when the nation will go to the polls to choose a new president.

But why is Election Day on a Tuesday? Why in the world do we continue to insist on voting on a weekday when we are supposed to be encouraging as many people to vote as possible?

Roland...... at least your a moderate and thanks for standing up for the next president of the us, the eloquent Obama. most of the writers on here are neo/fiscons of the right-wingnuts. it is funny though after 14 years of corruption and abuse from the GOP congress, led by the 'Hammer' of moral ineptitude and 8 years of this neocon-bullying Cheney administration, most of r-wingnusts blame and call out being victumized by the left. poor poor cons. we the independents speak now.......... Obama/Webb by double digits over McBush/Rom'mo hehehe
