Sir;... I don't want to see the White House turned into a democratic show boat just because the republicans did it... I do think not enough people respond to republican nonsense... All it takes is a little truth to let the wind out of a great big lie; but if people haven't got the sense to respond then the lie gets believed, and we take a beating... What does it take to call a spade a spade??? I can understand politicians all wanting to keep the truth at arms length... They all juggle the truth like it is full of nerve gas or napalm, and it may be for all we know... But we have to live with reality, and the truth will always fairly represent reality; and republican truth, the republican version of truth -has no relationship to reality... It is fine, as long as some things in society work as they are supposed to; because then, you can get people to believe about any nonsense... One lie that is always tried and effective is this one... The original version goes like this: He who smelt it delt it... The modern version is this: If you got a problem, you are the problem... Another version is this: The victim is always guilty... But I don't want to get all gooey about the truth... Every society needs enough... Every relationship needs enough... With enough truth people survive, annd without enough truth humanity dies...
