Ma'am;...Uncle Sam should respect all marriages??? Everyone should respect human beings, and the choices they make, unless they can find some real, and serious injury to others in the excercise of their freedom... Anyone having the relationship should not worry about the form, because they already have the best that life can offer... Those people who like the citizens of the united states, who have the form, but do not have the relationship, are to be pitied... Some people cannot relate... Others are inhibited in their relationships by a failed form that takes more life from the relationship than it gives... Why trouble your gay selves to be admitted to a failed form??? Reject the form and enjoy your relationships... That is what it is all about.... People survive failed forms... Some times they remain as the slaves of a new culture... Some times many people are destroyed when their forms crash around them.... Stay out of the way... Look at it: Government, culture, economy; all dying faster than anyone can pump life into them... You ask to be recognize by your form of society... When you do, you add legitimacy to it that it does not deserve... Reject it, and go your own way... You don't need the government to tell you who you can like... You don't need the government to tell you who is real.... You can tell that on your own.... You know how to live without law, because you know how to treat others with respect.... Forget the government, and form your own working, life giving relationships...
