Good Point! about America's steady decline on oil-dependency for the PAST 3 YEARS! Let's just forget the fact that we are still so heavily depended on it... especially for the PAST 50 YEARS!... YEAH! thanks for the significant "factoid". The fact is America, like its health care system, has an economically inefficient transportation system. While most major cities in the world ( and countries!) have developed & have state of the art, effective & economically efficient mass transit, the major cities in the USA have been leaping forward into the future by BUILDING NEW STADIUMS! what???... mostly thanks to the oil industry/their lobbies/and other oil-depended businesses in our country.

AND NOW AMERICANS BORROW TO PAY FOR HEATING COST OR GROCERIES! Now many Americans do business with legal loan-sharks like "The Money Tree" to get payday loans because living paycheck to paycheck isn't even working anymore!
