Tom...You did not offer one instance, one accusation, not one lie. You complained of critics not being specific, yet, you did same.
DID RUSH LIMBAUGH play a song..."Barack the Magic Negro.."? Did RL call Obama a "halfreican?" Did he refer to the NFL players being "crips & bloods". (black gang members). Did Rush Limbaugh say, on NATIONAL TELEVISION, on ESPN...that (I may not get the quote exactly as it was said) "....the Media really wants a Black Quarterback to be successful..." (those aren't the exact words, but you get the idea). And, there are others.
The Media and Democrats didn't SACK Rush, RUSH sacked RUSH.
I can tell you that if I said things offensive to bosses, or even if they agreed, but, didn't want to offend customers, I wouldn't get hired, would likely get fired---as I was in Radio Advertisng sales for over 20 years.
I also didn't want to hurt myself.
THE NFL doesn't NEED Rush Limbaugh. If they did, he would have gotten in.
