Timing of Economic "Collapse" Seems to Justify Paranoia

In politics, timing is everything.

Don't you think that in quiet places where they can't be heard, there aren't some involved in the 2008 political race who aren't whispering aloud questions about whether the almost whirlwind speed at which the entire financial market has melted down seems more than coincidental? Would they be guilty of unjustified paranoia — or would they be justified in at least pondering the issue?

Oh, I forgot. When conservatives or Republicans — ...

Sir; ....When you spend so much of your life denying the dire predictions of an approaching reality it probably does seem a little strange and inexplicable when it hits you. I wonder how many condemned men thought upon reaching the ends of their rope: Now; doesn't that feel strange! It looks like the congress is trying to give you a little more rope. I hope you appreciate it. America has plenty of rope. It is running short of patience...Thanks...Sweeney
