Good article on a good man. What is going to be interesting is when the people get their Democrat President and Congress it will be similar to when the people of Israel wanted a King instead of the Judges they had because they wanted to be like the other Kingdoms. They got Saul because he was handsome and well spoken. Things got really bad. Either candidate was going to be a change. The corruption is on both sides and unfortunately the some of the most corrupt will stay standing because they are Democrats. It will be very interesting to see this country in 4 years when there will be nothing but unmet expectations. I tell people that I still remember the Carter years. Lines at the pump- not because of price but because there was none. A new car loan was 21%. Inflation and unemployment was near double digits. Reagan came in and did what he said he was going to do. I guess the American people just don't want to hear truth anymore.

The United States constitution states that private property shall not be “taken for public use without just compensation.” This constitutional provision imposes two important limits on the taking of private property: first, that the use must be public, and second, that just compensation must be paid. (If private property could be taken for any use at all, the term “public” would not have been included.)

Gradually, though, government has come to ignore these limits. Now, local governments take individuals' private property and give it to other more politically powerful private parties for their economic profit, not for a public use. After a private entity or developer identifies the parcels of land it wants to acquire and city agencies approve a “redevelopment project,” the city attempts to confiscate these private properties and transfer them to the developer. At the same time, governments give less and less consideration to the necessity of taking property for whatever project is planned. They also ignore the personal values of home and business ownership to the individuals being evicted.

Three years ago June 23, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that New London, Conn., could take Susette's little pink cottage in order to try to generate more tax revenue. Now three years after the decision and $78 million in taxpayer dollars later, nothing has happened with the land. All that's left are brown, barren fields. Yet the travesty here is not only that the lives of Susette and her neighbors were unnecessarily uprooted, but that this type of thing is happening all over the country.

This is the action of liberal judges who do not uphold the rule of law, but rather interpret the law to meet their liberal beliefs. Whoever is elected President will be with us, at most, eight years. Judges appointed by them will be in office for their lifetime and their rulings will be in place forever.

A prominent attorney who had argued hundreds of cases before the Supreme Court once remarked that the Supreme Court is not final because it's right, it is right because it is final. The Court's position as the court of last appeal and as the highest court in the land means that its decisions are binding and largely unchangeable. Once the Court has ruled, its decisions have all the effect and permanency of law.

This Supreme Court judge issue makes this the most important Presidential election in recent history. During this coming term there will be at least one and possibly two Supreme Court Judges that will retire.

Remember, the defining difference between liberal and conservative justices can mean the difference between the true American way of life and the continuing drift toward Socialism.

John Paul Stevens who is now 88 years old will surely retire before he becomes 92 years old.
Ruth Bader Ginsberg is now 75 years old and might decide to retire before she becomes 79-80 years old.

We must seriously consider which President we can trust to appoint replacement judges that will uphold the rule of law as prescribed in the US Constitution.

You may not have the opportunity to cast a vote with the historical significance as in this election. With the court presently loaded with 5 liberal and 4 conservative judges a liberal president will load the court with more liberal judges who will gradually, through ideological rulings, move us into Socialism. It will then likely be 15 years, or more, before you will have a chance to vote for a president who will make intelligent choices for Supreme Court judges.
Why take the chance? Vote for a man who will appoint judges that will uphold the rule of law and protect the rights provided us in the U.S, Constitution.

VERY IMPORTANT to you, your children and your grandchildren!!!!!!

Excuse me, but the slaughterhouse would have been when Clinton fired all the US Attorneys. I'm no lawywer, but that was many more than 9. If an attorney refuses to investigate voter fraud, they should be fired.
