The sole purpose of "globalization' is the destruction of a well paid middle class in the developed world thus raising corporate profit margins and simultaneously creating larger markets for now cheaper goods. Defenders of this process state that goods are now cheaper, whcih is generally true, but the concomitant lowering of wages produced by globalization more than offsets that "gain". Remember, this all started 25 years ago with low wage, menial type jobs being outsourced with the promise, clearly false, that America would be the land of 21st century, well paying high tech jobs, the same ones now rushing out of this country. Corporations are cancers and have no more love for this or any country than does the rapidly growing cancer cell that lives to consume it's host. Kill the multi- nationals or be killed.
