Sir;... The best days of this nation are before us... We have lots of talent... Still a few resources... And more good hard working intelligent people arriving daily... The thing is, that the nation is the people... We are not a natural nation, springing from a common mother. ..But we have the potential of a great nation state, if we can agree on some basic laws, and levels of respect.... And yet our government is failing us... Our constitution is failing us, and cannot even approach its promised goals with its established form...The problem is not us...The problem is not our neighbors, and is not our newest members... The problem is the same with old and established forms everywhere... Some people always manage to suck the meaning out of them, and convert the meaning to wealth... What does Jefferson say of forms in the Declaration of Independence???  Some times people have to change their forms...Some times people have to change their shorts; and some times they have to change their attitudes... But our founding document is a revolutionary statement of rights, and universal rights... There is no equivocation to All Men created Equal... Even if you do not accept the metaphysics, you must still accept the sentiment to be an American Patriot... So; if we are not getting the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that we should from this form of government we should try another... And it will be an uphill fight, since those who would deny liberty, and all it means don't have to cross thousands of miles of ocean to defend what they have taken... It is possible that the forces of liberty will know defeat, and must suffer defeat with the certain knowledge that God gives might to right, even while he allows terror and intimidation and injustice to wrong... We will be a great nation when we can throw our current goverment into the ocean to return to the land of tyranny... There is not a well meaning adult or child in this land that could not write a better constitution if they would only include the preamble and some sincere defense of individual rights... We are great, but we have outgrown our constitution, our form of government; and like shoes too tight, they are giving this people a migraine...Let us all move on...Dot...Org...
