Ma'am;...Keep waiting for Mr. Obama to tell the American people there is a price to be paid for the many proposals he has offered... We are already paying the price of failed government... When people lose their jobs, and lose their houses, and lose all their money in stocks or ponzi schemes; they know the price.... What is the price of nothing???Ask all those injured in Iraq, and ask all those veterans looking for care without resources....Ask all the dead in that unnecessary war... They get nothing from their government, and pay the ultimate in price...The price of bad government in your face... The price of keeping capitalism from self destruction was too great to bear; and now you chaff at the price of CPR.... God certainly hath no fool like a republican fool... Think of your hero, Reagan; and his words, that government is the problem... Fair enough...It has never worked for me... But it has never put the goals for which it was formed to the front... Where is our justice, our liberty, and where is tranquility, and the general welfare, or perfect union??? Are these aims free, and without expense??? You know better, and the pain of people, the newly homeless, and the maimed and killed in war are paying for nothing, certainly for no good government, so you should consider whether we are getting what we pay for at all before considering the expense extreme...I am happy to let it fall... You might better ask your rich friends whether they agree with you...I don't believe you can give a man a welfare check without it being in the pocket of the slumlord before supper time... To me it is all so much welfare for the rich...It is all meant to keep the capitalist system alive to fail again...Will the expense be less next time??? I don't spit in the wind... I don't live for frustration...I think the chances of making the system work by throwing money at it is slim... The more you throw, the more you devalue the money until sooner or later you are throwing only numbers... Here's a number: 33... Now, do a trick...Do you see how well that works???Just about as good as our economy...Thanks...Sweeney

One step at a time. You seem to hear only what you want to hear. The news that its time to be responsible needs to sink in before we go onto the specifics. Ane I agree with Sweeney, We got the bad news about our irresponsible behavior before Bush left office. Rightly so, as he was the leader of the country and "decider" of so many policies that resulted in the bad news.
