The Neocons' Palin Project

by Pat Buchanan

Will the neocons who tutored George W. Bush in the ideology he pursued to the ruin of his presidency do the same for Sarah Palin?

Should they succeed, they will destroy her. Yet, they are moving even now to capture this princess of the right and hope of the party.

In St. Paul, Palin was told to cancel a meeting with Phyllis Schlafly and pro-life conservatives. McCain's operatives said Palin had to rest for her Wednesday convention speech.

Yet, on Tuesday, Palin was behind ...

Re: Carl; Sir...Toooo bad it's tarue. If we get to WWIII it will because one of that kind is looking for the last days with a bible in one hand and a nuclear trigger in the other. I think it is time for a law: No more idiots or nut heads in the white house. Period. We will be generations cleaning up and paying off the last mess. Who needs another?...Best, and thanks....Sweeney.

Sir; Mrs. Palin is a nut, or an idiot, or both; but that does not mean she can't be taught tricks like a horse or a dog. She is ready to step into the presidency? There is a man in panties for you !... Sure, let's get drunk and drive off a cliff. Go for it! Where is the president who was not aged twenty years in an eight year run? If she were really a woman, it is safe to say she would be more careful of her age, and not want it written all over her face. No! There is something rotten upstairs with that one. She cares more for power than for making sense. She is way too easy about sending her children, and other peoples children into harms way for no possible gain. She talks about war like she never had to clean rotten meat out of a broken freezer. I swear; if our democracy can put that one into office it is because the inmates have taken over the asylum... Thanks... Sweeney

In other words, say whatever it takes to get elected then once in office pursue your own personal agenda. Just the kind of candidate we need. A blank page, great. And what makes anyone think she will be any more successful than Colin Powell was (hardly a blank page) in resisiting the neocons? I'm (mainly) a democrat and a liberal yet I often find myself agreeing with Pat on some issues. But when it comes to Palin he's just another Kool-aid drinker.

Joe Lieberman will have more influence in the McCain White House than Sarah Palin will.... But, I thank you for this information....because now I realize that Sarah Palin is the least of my worries when it comes to a McCain Presidency... I was concerned about the fact that every place McCain showed up their was Lieberman and Graham hovering in the background and now I know who was behind those two. Neo Cons who's agenda will destroy the United States. Enough is enough.... Pat, is abortion that important of an issue to you that you are willing to crawl in bed with the neo cons?

Re: Marian; Sir, well Ya. The longer you look at her the uglier she gets. But she has been in more molds than jello. Every one has had some input into her character. So, who is the real Mrs. Palin? You're looking at her, five feet somthin and a photon deep. There is no depth to her character. Some one should ask how she feels about sending her baby to war. Some one should ask how she feels about her retarded child. Some one should ask her how she feels about wide spread poverty in America.... She is who she is because she knows what she wants, but she does not have any feelings. She is incapable of pain, of grief, of sadness, of regret, or shame. She is probably incapable of great joy, and profound happiness. But who am I to judge? We all must be a lttle bit numb to our emotions to endure the break down of America. It is only that some mourn it, and others celebrate it.

Re: garlis99; Sir; she is not a blank slate. She is Pat Robertson in panties, and the same sort of nonsense he spews exits her mouth without the scrutiny of a brain. You better worry about ideologues getting their hands on our military. She is a true believer. The only differences between her and the terrorists is the religion and the fact that she on our side. Not. The republican party needs to hunt her down with a butterfly net and put her some place soft.... Thanks..Sweeney
