The Man Who Never Was

by Tony Blankley

The mainstream media have gone over the line and are now straight-out propagandists for the Obama campaign.

While they have been liberal and blinkered in their worldview for decades, in 2007-08, for the first time, the major media consciously are covering for one candidate for president and consciously are knifing the other. This is no longer journalism; it is simply propaganda. (The American left-wing version of the Völkischer Beobachter cannot be far behind.)

And as a res ...

Spot on. What has happened to jounalism? Obama's gaffes, position changes, whining and associations with radicals, racists and corrupt polical operatives is simply ignored. Even Dan Quayle, the media's former favorite punching bag prior to Bush jr., never said that he had campaigned in 57 states.

Nonsense. Quit whining. With the press you wins some (GWB's free pass to war), you lose some (McCain 'The economy is fundamentally sound'). He is a walking gaffe machine, that's not the media's fault. Maybe he needs to be sequestered like Sarah Palin to keep his blunders out of the headlines. SNL is hardly the 'mainstream media'.

Sir; ...don't forget about me... I'd have a great big yard sign for Obama if they didn't expect me to pay for it. Of course, if the problem with government were not too much influence by money, I might throw some money at them just to see if it hurt. But get this... I have absolutly no reason on this earth to vote for a negro except that he isn't a republican. I am so sick of republican nonsense dictating the direction of the country that I am about to turn blue. And when it could not get much worse for you folks, then you get that dimwit, Mrs. Palin on the ticket too. ...So I will give out some propaganda. I wish I had a ton of it that I could give away a teaspoon full at a time. In my soul I know that Mr. Obama is corrupt and intelligent enough to be president, and that nothing there will offend him into inactivity, and that he will not just up and drop dead leaving some trailer trash from Alaska in charge. Come on Tony. Quit beating a dead horse. When you get a real live candidate with a fraction of new idea, be sure to let the world know...Thanks...Sweeney
