The "Isms" That Bedevil Bush

by Pat Buchanan

On reading George Bush's discourse to the New York Economic Club last week, Cicero's insight came to mind: "To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child."

Pat: Keep up the great work in all you do to stand up for the constitution & the rights we Americans are loosing, by these idiots elected in running America. The three candidates we have left with, I wonder how they all got this far they are so far out of what America needs & stands for. The Democrats will bankrupt us for sure with all the new plans & give aways programs they have in mind. McCain, I don't like his McCain/Kennedy Amnesty agenda at all & he turned me against him with wasting valuable time on bills for illegals in this country when we are in a recession. We have lost millions of jobs to outsourcing to China & other countries. Our health care is a mess, unless you are an illegal you can use it all you need. The housing crisis we have created. The $334 billion we spent in 2007 on illegals in this country could of been well spent on shoring up our deficit, as on social security, medicare & medicad programs. I have your book "State of Emergency", well written, enjoying it, but irrates me very much of what I am reading. Keep fighting for us, we need people like you for our voices. Thanks again. I agree with what has happened with this country's finances. Unhealthy. I don't understand why our American businesses and political leaders don't find a way to remove China from economy. I know it's a huge thing, but I believe China is a danger to us in many ways.
