It's about time that someone is speaking to the subject of lobbying and lobbyists! What chance does the average John Doe have against the piles of wealth that are bestowed on ALL the Presidential Candidates? The distinctions between the two major parties have blurred so that it doesn't seem to matter whether there are Republicans or Democrats in office!

This article is as true today as two years ago. People might be interested in more free information on 'framing' under Learning Center at Cognitive Policy Works dot com.
I think it does matter the party, to some extent, because the conservatives have become all about the rich, although it seems to be true that the democrats are just the more benevolent rich, although it is more by the candidate than by the party now. We really need it to be about all the people, but the media goes to the highest bidder, and that's the richest of the rich. We have no voice. Power does corrupt, they can't seem to help it. Our involvement is the only solution and that is mostly a matter of waking up and waking other up, so that we don't keep voting against our own interests and keep teaching others to vote wrong also.

Thanks for the only on-target post/column I've seen anywhere on this subject, that is usually pure confusion on both the right and the left.
