Susan I was a hospice nurse and dealt with many different cultures and religions dealing with death. My conclusion of this is everyone has the same God but have different ways to get there. Everyone felt their religion was the right way and that they were going to heaven. Who knows who is right or wrong and I question if we are all right. Politically the Christian Right where our values were formed still have a strong hold in the mid west and believe the New Testament is the way to heaven. I am Catholic and believe the same but I do not judge others as I am judged being called a cult and that I will go to hell. It appalls me how our politicians use God to their benefit and I feel they have sold their soul for political gain.
