Saw a link to this article at www.polijam.com Good article. I agree that John McCain is
a great man. He follows through on his beliefs and does not pay heed to media coverage
and opinion polls. I respect him a great deal, but would not vote for him as president,
because I don't agree with many of his positions.
McCain is entirely wrong on his position with regard to illegal immigration. His
positions on government spending and taxes are not clear. The McCain –Feingold
legislation proved to be a disaster. Yes, he is all for reducing government pork, but so is
everyone else while running for office.
McCain is a great man, but is not presidential material. Many believe that this is because
his time has passed. But his time was never right, because his positions are not consistent
with the positions of the voters.
