Sir;... The prsidency has gained power as the house of representatives has given up power....They limited their number, and now, with country divided and house districts divided to deny a huge minority any representation what so ever, the dictatorial presidency has been the winner with great power... What power does any reprentative have trying to not alienate a slim majority???If any representative could stand up an vote the firmly held opinion of 90% of his district: win, or lose, he would be a force to be reckoned with.... All our districts should be united even if they will be as small as prescribed in the constitution.... Why should America grow while representatives stay fixed in number??? Did the founding fathers deserve a more direct democracy than ourselves??? Can any representative represent 600,000 with a fraction of the fidelity as one could represent 30,000??? Not a chance in hell... We have not a part of the democracy this country began with...I understand that each individual representative wanted to increase his own power and prestige by limiting their number... They are supposed to be representative of the people and not responsible for our division... The house is not supposed to be a sellers market, but should be too expensive and numerous to buy...All of our problems result from the want of democracy... Money controls the process... Money talks while voters suffer dumbly...We can rejoice when our party wins that the other side is denied their voice, and their power in government... The object of government is to serve all needs, to hear all voice, and to respond to all demands...Winners and losers do  not a nation make... If we will have unity we will also have democracy...Thanks...Sweeney
