Just ask the Japanese, their stock market is about 50% below its peak of over 15 years ago! Ours is about 20% below where it was over eight years ago - about the same time the Republicans began screwing around with capital gains tax rates. When you cut taxes for the rich as Bush did you shrink the economy. When you cut taxes for the middle class as Reagan did you grow the economy. That's economics 101.
