Anytime anyone is killed by a careless act - regardless of the method - drunken driving, stabbing, car accidents and yes.... shootings it is very tragic. However; when it comes to firearms there are already more laws already on the books regarding firearms more than any other subject. Passing more laws on top of laws will not do anything to curb crime.

Giving handgun Control Inc their ultimate dream of banning all firearms that would only make firearm crimes sky rocket to new levels when only cops and criminals have firearms.

Ever notice where the cowards choose to do their shootings? It is typically in a place where they would least expect resistance. Lets say if more people were licensed to legally carry firearms in more places perhaps when the next scum bag to be chooses to shoot law abiding citizens they could be stopped cold in their tracks. Rather than restricting citizens from protecting themselves and others by having them picked away one by one by some maniac I strongly believe it is time to send a message to the next criminally minded individual that when they do things like this they could be killed immediately.

It is truly unfortunate that so many individuals, like Roger Simon, let their biased opinion of firearms distort the positive aspects of law abiding firearm ownership just because they no little or nothing about firearms, just like the new leadership of the country. People like Pelosi, Clinton (both of them) and even Obama Bin Laden himself have an extremely negative viewpoint of firearms due to their extreme lack of knowledge on the subject.

The day and time in which we live where bills like HR45 which is now in congress being seriously considered makes me more scared of my Government than in any other time in history.
