The Debt We Owe Laura Bush

With so many newspapers columns about bailouts and debt, I thought I might just change the pace by paying tribute to a woman to whom we as Americans are indebted — First Lady Laura Bush.
I know President Bush doesn't read columns, but with all due respect, he needs to read this one. So, I'm writing it to him.

Sir; I would agree that we owed Mrs. Bush some debt If she had donated her brain to her husband for transplant, but I don't think the Bushes have a brain between them...I guess pond scum could get elected in Taxis if it knew how to mouth the right empty mis-spoken rhetoric... How can anyone be as educated as that women is supposed to be and be so shallow as to live with that bone headed, take us to war for fun, run us into depression at flank speed, and lay off the blame on others dipstick... I could get more out of a book using it for shade than that woman ever got out of guarding a whole house full of them... If you don't love knowledge you never get acquainted with a book, but I trust people in Taxis are like people in Arabia who only learn to read to read one book...You know that the people distrust government enough to not want smart people in government... That is why they insulted Mr. Obama as an intellectual, and called Mr. Clinton slick... But the least the people of this land could have done is find some one as smart as themselves instead of the dummest rock in the box...We have a pitiful poor excuse for government, but the failure of government and our democracy has made the presidency a virtual dicatorship... Can we not do better than boobs??? The republicans want to elect Sarah Palin in four years... What is the white house to the right??? Is it some kind of clown car they can stuff with endless numbers of idiots???There ought to be some kind of intelligence test for that office...There ought to be a law...Thanks...Sweeney
