How can President Obama think that federal government can begin to run a national health care system while seeing how other government agencies are be operated today?

I consider myself a moderate conservative. I am against raising taxes. But unless somebody has a better idea, I say try to improve the current system since a overwhelming majority of insured Americans are happy with their current health cared and help pay(raise taxes) for the 15 million Americans that are not insured. Without being an expert you can figure that would be a lot lower than having the feds run things. I'm sure someone out there knows a way without raising taxes. I know there is nothing in the constitution guaranteeing we have insurance but I think with the waste in government and we are still the richest country in the world we could help our fellow Americans(no excuse for children and the elderly not having insurance in this country. Unacceptable. Cash for clunkers when Americans are uninsured?) that are not insured.


It doesn't happen often, but there is not a more powerful political force in this country then the people when they are angered and motivated by something our government did.
