David, normally I agree with you. But this time I think you are not being entirely fair. Many Obama supporters feel he is helping to create a movement. We trust large numbers of people getting involved more than we trust leaders. Also, offshore drilling may seem unimportant in the west but I live next to the Gulf of Mexico. We already have a dead zone caused by pollution and don't need more.
