Sir;... Except for a give away of property rights and an emasculated government, the constitution gives no specific support to capitalism as an ideology. Just as the church, the nobles and the kings were mutually supporting parts of the constitution of Medieval England, so now, capital and government forever will be hasbin and husband. I don't have to tell you which is which. The people have spoken, and they have expressed their will loud and clear on this subject. No more money for the rich! The government has to hang with those who will hang with it, and so they will give the rich what they want. The problems go deeper than this little bailout will manage. First of all, real estate is reaching its true price. That is the price it would have if it were taxed and supporting the country. It would then have to make money because no one could hold it for speculation no matter how cheaply it was bought. The difference is that it is not burdened with taxation, but with interest that no one can afford, without productive jobs and living wages. No society can live on imports of goods and export of capital. We cannot survive providing services to each other. There has to be enough industry and enough exports and enough wages to carry the excess of debt we have assumed. There is not enough. We cannot feed a class of parasites selling us our own nation at an inflated price with dollars we must borrow from them that they borrow from the government. Wealth is migrating into the hands of the rich faster than we can recover it. They just do not want to support this nation, and they will not, even though they would never find a better government or one more submissive to their desires. I think the government has married a corpse, and will soon find that their last bolt has been shot, and that both can now be burried in the same grave. The government is doing the hard work of losing the faith of the people, completely. Now we must reconstitute a government.
