The Supreme Court's decision this week in the New Haven firefighters case may cause problems for its newest prospective member, Judge Sonia Sotomayor. All citizens are thought the same. All test are written in English. So, what is the problem that one ethenic group scores better than another. The most qualified should be promoted. Take sports. If one ethenic group is better than another, he plays. Or do we have to say that there must be equal opertunity for each ethenic group. So, why can't we say the most qualified gets promoted or play. GOD made men equal but are better than others. How would you like a boss thats get promoted to level of incompency. So, quotas are not the best way for promotion.
