Say Goodbye to the Glowbama Mystique

by Michelle Malkin

Barack Obama — the self-anointed soul-fixing, nation-healing political Messiah — has lost his glow. That is the takeaway from the beleaguered Democratic presidential candidate's "major" speech in Philadelphia yesterday.

For all of his supposedly unique and transcendent understanding of race in America, Obama's talk amounted to the same old, same old. The Glowbama mystique has gone the way of the Emperor's clothes. Instead of accountability, we got excuses. Instead ...

It's getting more and more difficult to find real news these days thanks to people like Michelle Malkin who only seek to further their partisan-politic based careers. She is as verbose as she is articulate and anyone who suffers the misfortune to confuse this extended trash-talk for informational journalism has my sympathy. I am sorry that she has painted herself so thoroughly into her political corner that she has become unable to actually be present when a powerful, uplifting, and historic speech occurs. While she is able to write with skill, pomp and audacity to the ever-hungry sensationalist audience, she seems to miss the heart of the speech completely as a journalist as well as a human being. Miss Malkin has taken the position of that of her political affiliation which inextricably ties Obama to the words of Rev. Wright and is using her byline as an opportunity to take him down for her own personal-political cause. Clearly she was listening only to hear his big disavowal of Rev. Wright and when she didn't hear it, she pounced. As a news seeking reader you should ask yourself: "How does Miss Malkin know that Rev Wright's bitter fanaticism was Trinity Church's 'Bread and Butter'?" Like so many others she has been educated by the erudite wisdom of the blogosphere and carefully selected the most divisive knowledge to serve her own ends. What is most ironic is how her own fanatical tirade, as an attempt to expose Obama's true colors, only exposes her own divisive heart which perpetuates the hate and fear which she claims to decry. Unfortunately those who only read this article and never hear the actual speech will miss, as Miss Malkin has, a vision of a truly 'United' States and an historic event. Though she calls Obama the "self-anointed, soul-fixing, nation-healing political messiah" it seems more apt to say that she has anointed herself as the "soul-fixing, nation-healing political-translator messiah" here to save us from any confusing upliftment we might have suffered at the hands of Obama's truly inspiring speech.

Thanks Michelle for hitting it right on the nose. If only people would read between the lines and really see Obama for what he really is, a liar, a hater of his own white race, a manipultive person as his "spiritual advisor" is. Obama preaches "There is no black America, There is no white America, There is only a United States of America', but if he really meant it instead of telling the people what they want to hear would be a different story. By saying this and listening to his speach, are two different things. He is so into racism, that that seems to be his only point in his campaigns. Forget that the economy is bad, that jobs are very few, and that we still have a war going, he only focuses on racism. I wonder, does he have to bring this up always? and does it make him feel better because of his two part blood? Is he the only one with white and black blood? I for one have mixed children, but I have taught them that just be who you are and be proud of it. Obama seems to reject his white heritage and seems to blame his white grandmother for her fear concerning the blacks. And what did he say, he said that her words made him "cringe". What about Wright and his views on this nation? If anybody is to blame, it is Wright for saying some outrageous RACIAL remarks obout America, and Obama for listening to them and not defending his own country. These kind of people are the ones that don't let racism rest as they always keep bringing it up. White people even seem to fear in speaking and giving their opinions about blacks as right away they are accused of racism.
