Well, what do you want the Democrats to say, Saunders? Don't worry be happy? That's about all you corrupt Republican wizards have had to offer on your merry way to the bank with the tax giveaways you've pocketed. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
What a testament to the American voter as complete and utter sucker that snake-oil sellers like you plan to stay in business by trying to play the fiscal responsibility card now that we've gotten to the point where give-aways to the folks who didn't need them have handed over our record national debt to the benevolent land of China.

Ma'am; I hope you are not forgetting that the other thing besides sacrifice that Mr. Bush did not ask from America was permission. I guess if you have a fraiddy cat congress that can be manipulated, you don't have to ask the consent of the people. Who needs the people when you have the peoples representatives? And that is a large part of the mess we are in. The democrats are playing to play, like some infinite game. And the republicans are playing to win, and they don;t care that winning puts the country that much closer to the end. Certainly it is undemocratic; and even a little treasonous. The game is winner take all to the winners, and the republicans want that to be them always. So they don't mind slinging slime and invectives. They don't mind calling democrats anything but white. They know how difficult it is to mend up a party of opposites so that elbows are not sticking out all over. They just play the opposite game. Divide, divide, find a fine line and slide in the knife blade. You know; I am right with you. I hope for a better human being all right, and a better American; but if I had to bet, I would bet on the gullible, and all those who don't know good from bad to put the republicans over the top. Two qualities they will never have to ration in this land are bushit, and stupidity. And there are a lot of stupid people out there ready to be manipulated. But; the counter to all those who don't know good is the great number who do know bad, and who will vote against those who have proven often to be good at getting elected, and terrible at governing. But; it is hard to go against proven winners like the republicans. I don't know why the democrats bother to try. .. . And I would like to mention something else. I think America loves her rich people. There is not much doubt about that. The rich should not guess for a minute that the society hasn't got to work for rich and poor. Most folks don't expect much from life. And so as long as they have something besides pain, want, and frustration they will go along with just about anything. Going along should not be confused with consent. If the society proves harmful to the many only to provide for the rich, you might find any trace of consent has been withdrawn. Thanks.... . Sweeney
