Really, Rush, We're Not That Scary

Rush Limbaugh can't understand why so many women don't like him.
That's what he says. Far be it from me to suggest he might be claiming this just to get attention.
The right-wing radio talk show host says that for the life of him, he can't understand why a recent study by Public Policy Polling shows that 49 percent of women have a negative view of him. Apparently, he is shocked to learn that not all women think alike and that nearly half of those who think at all take a dim view ...

49% is not very much considering his scary messages. I just hope American women feel better about themselves then what Rush thinks they should.

He just needs some cheese with his wine and a laxitive on the side...Wa, waa; Girls don't like me... I don't understand it.... What'z wrong with them.... I won't tell you I understand women any better than Rush... Well, maybe I do...I know I don't have to understand women to love one....I can tell you one thing...I am related to an intelligent woman in South Dakota...In the county she lives in there is not one democrat, except her... And she was prevailed upon by her husband to not register as a democrat so they would not have to have a primary for a party that would not be elected anyway.... She told me their idea of fun was to door Indians who were hitchhiking... That is where you drive by a man at high speed and kick the passenger door open....Real good fun until some body killed some body, and went to prison.... The thing is, that while we can count on clowns electiing clowns, that sooner or later intelligent people realize the folly of that behavior, and will de-vote the bozos....And I trust that women are the deciding force in such change.... And yet, ideologically, they can justify their own victimization better than any kind of people...I think women are nicer than men, generally.... But, when a single issue can make a woman vote republican, and the republicans can use that as an excuse to deliver injustice to whole groups of people, including women; then women are not just the answer, but the question.... There is no single issue in this country...There is no single issue in Morality.... Simple people look for simple solutions; but everything is interconnected....For example... Immorality results in some abortions.... So does love, and hope, and desire, and loneliness... So does the economy.... Too often the potential mother is a victim of her society, so if it were possible to stop her with a law, how would that help all the varied causes of abortion??? Any way... Don't worry about American women.... When their hearts are right their heads do just fine.... Thanks...Sweeney

Rush is an idiot, but he is a rich idiot so I guess one would have to call him successful. There are conservative women and liberal women. The difference (aside from anatomy) between men and women has been the roles, constraints, and other artificial boundaries imposed by various laws and societal mores over the centuries. His problem with women is the obvious fact that cannot imagine any female as his equal, much less his superior. He would like society to keep limiting all women forever. Mr. Limbaugh, welcome to the 21st century.
Don't worry, Rush, you may never equal Connie Schultz, but you are right up there with Ann Coulter!

Rush should be thrilled it's only 49% of women that don't like him. I think that number is very low.
I wish I could understand men like him more because unfortunately there are a lot of them. Last night I watched Independent Lens on PBS,the show was about women firefighters in NY. These women were abused by their male coworkers for years and years,with passionate HATRED,simply because they wanted to be firefighters. I always thought these to be the most noble of people. The harassment was happening in the 80's and 90's!
Why do so many men feel that way about women? Why are so many men like Rush? Is it just a testosterone side effect? Like PMS is for us? Why do so many men still hate women? Women take care of them in their childhood, teach them in school, love them as wives and daughters(married men and fathers hate women too) live lives right along side them, in their own homes.
How does this happen? Why do so many men,still, hate women? And why do they expect us to love them in return Rush?
(Sweeney,sorry to hear about your "intelligent" relative from South Dakota. Why does she hate indians? She should be kissing their feet in forgiveness,no? Intelligence and morality don't always go together,but that's pretty disturbing.)
