Sir;...What makes you hate the journalists more??? Is it the mistakes they make, or the mistakes they don't make??? I don't like the press for money, and no one seems to be willing to do it for nothing.... And I much prefer rumor to reliable facts, but I understand why those librals need more to go on, since they have no political power, and no billions, and their lives are so precarious.... But; do you really want everyone to get their news from the rumor mill, or the blogs??? Think of how easy that would be to censor, and how dangerous it would be to try.... The truth, such as it, is can never be taken at face value... If you read the truth in the news paper you can afford to ignore it... It does not matter how many are losing their houses if you are not losing yours....It does not matter how many are being tortured if you are not being tortured... It does not matter to you if your name isn't in the Obituaries, and it doesn't matter if it is... Until the news is something we don't have to read to know, and as long as we can forget it as soon as we read it, it will only be the news.... From my perspective there is not much new in the news... My Father grew up in one Great Depression and will likely die in this one.... The future is too much like the past because people cannot learn to fix their problems for good and all... So, there is nothing new in the news except for those who must suffer it, who never thought they would... Thanks...Sweeney
