Polls and Pols

by Thomas Sowell

It may seem hardly worthwhile going to the polls to vote this election year, since ACORN and the media have already decided that Barack Obama is to be the next President of the United States.

Still, it may take more than voter fraud and media spin to put Senator Obama in the White House. Most public opinion polls show Obama ahead, but not usually by decisive margins, and sometimes by a difference within the margin of error.

It isn't that the polls are off by enough to sneak McCain in, it's that such a man and leftist machine can convince enough people that such destructive ideas and methods of governing are acceptable that signals the end of Democracy. That the useful idiots, members of one nation divisible by color, sex preference, age, financial class, education, worker or employer, etc have come this close is the problem. even if McCain wins it is like teens finding out"she's not pregnant this time." The fact is the self-destructive behavior and mentality of the masses is sufficient to destroy the nation. Democracy, simply doesn't work -not as long as greed, envy, sloth, created rights to be hedonistic and murder our offspring, irresponsible and the willingness without shame, to take from those who aren't, is the mode of operation of the masses, it is done for - and so are we.

Mr. Sowell, One major elephant (hidden) in the room is what is Sen. Obama's position on the issue of reparations for slavery? All major American Black leaders who enthusiastically endorsed Sen. Obama several months ago also endorsed reparations for decendents of slaves. Nothing has been said since, but I think the public needs to know what Sen. Obama's views are ... before the election.
