Sir;... Many people have dared to tell lies about the Catholic Church...That way they could always laugh it off, beg forgiveness and do penance...Forgive and forget...I would never dare to tell the truth about the church, even If I could say I knew it, exactly... The truth I know is not all that flattering... They have made a lot of hay with the word of God... They have done well because they did not make the same mistake as everyone else...They never let their power become totally hereditary at the first opportunity... They were, and have been the world's first Modern Western State, with the first Modern System of Western Law, and always were a meritocracy as nearly every modern state, and in that way, they did not let preservation of genetic rights for the inevitable idiots interfere with the protection of raw power...But they are feeders... They never give as much as they take... They are not so parasitic as other organizations, or governments, but they do not do enough to justify their existence...And as a Catholic, I consider them dangerous...They are not dangerous to others, or to other faiths... And it may not even be the official church that is dangerous..And that is spooky too, that the official church is so nice while many church supporters are not very nice.. ...Some of her self appointed defenders are a loaded gun..Just between you and me... .I will not tell you what the word of God is...I would say; that is for you to discover with much searching... They will tell you they have it...When I was young, we never read the Bible...The church never wanted to open that can of worms...Faith in God meant faith in men... I have lots of that...I now trust my fellow humans more than God...But I do read the Bible, and the Holy Q'uran....And I do not bother with the truth about the Catholic Church...I hope they do not bother with the truth about me...The only hope I had for a long life, and free thought was to fall off all their radar..I hope I have....They may not be the threat they once were, but they are still a danger to their friends...
