Ma'am; no bout a doubt it, but there is some entertainment value in government, -if that means it occupies our time, and takes our energy... Think about some terrible event relived time and again in your nightmares; and ask: Isn't that enetertainment??? It quit being funny a long time ago, and has moved out of tragedy, and now is pure morbidity... They fiddle, and we burn... We hurt, and they tussle like so many kittens... Politics is not an adjunct to government, but its destruction... Every form of relationship has its politics... There is not a marriage on the planet that does not have its politics... The politics are the personality of any form of organization; but that is where most organizations break down, simply because it is idiots and extroverts, the mad and the single minded that push into politics...  -And the reason politics so often fails us is that we do not have the power at the lowest level to correct our leaders... Two heads are better than one, four heads are better than two, and all heads are better than a few...No one can tell another person the severity of their needs... No one can better govern a man than that same man...There ultimately is no substitute for democracy, because democracy is the antidote for politics... You cannot stop some people from putting themselves in front and in charge...Even in the most free societies you cannot stop people from having influence in their societies... There must be a natural defense against the inidividual, and if the society does not provide for one, it is doomed... We are watching the prologue to our own funerals... Obama could not get a security clearance before, now he's president-elect !! He could not get a job in his own administration if he answered all the questions his team asked !! His team failed to vet Richardson,after he picked Joe Biden for his running mate !! Was not one of the Biden boys involved in a fraud,and sued for his part !! And I believe that he was good friends of the Illinois governor ?? I wish him luck,but I think we've seen just one of his many fumbles,let's hope he can recover from all of them,in the name of "GOOD GOVERNMENT" RC Davis
