David Axelrod is the new Karl Rove. I am amazed by the American Idol Vote. Obama was never about Change, Unity or an end to dirty politics.
So an "end to dirty politics" was about playing the race card, threatening super delegates, and perfecting Saul Alinsky's deceptive tactics for polarization and deceit.
Why is that so many voters do not understand what marketing means?? If voters all care so much about marketing they can vote for the man behind the 4 year marketing Obama infomercial.. David Axelrod.

Obama/Saul Alinsky's tactic from the "community organizer" days of Chicago yore..
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
A pretty handy tdirty trick with some help from media friends..

Right. For more on Obama and Alinsky's teachings, see "The Unlikely Political Education of Barack Obama" from TNR.

This is a great one-page index with preces to the whole long series of Chicago Tribune profiles of Obama from spring and summer 2007. Answers nearly all questions about his background and career.

[In Feb 2005, soon after his election to the US Senate], Obama and his advisers were thinking ahead. Some called it the "2010-2012-2016" plan: a potential bid for governor or re-election to the Senate in 2010, followed by a bid for the White House as soon as 2012 or, if not, 2016.

Obama has been exposed by good ole Reverend Wright who, when asked why Obama was denouncing him, replied Obama is a politician and he says and does what a politician has to say and do when he has to say and do it.
I also believe that someone has to reexamine the photo taken of Obama in Somalia. Many, including some on the Right, have dismissed that photo by saying that he and 'others' have worn "traditional garb" when visiting other countries. First of all, what Obama was wearing was not "traditional garb", it was clothing worn only by Somali Elders. Further there appears to be some sort of ceremony taking place ... was Obama being made a Somali Elder? Never forget Somalia's role as an enemy of this Country (Black Hawk Down) Obama seems to have a more than chummy relationship with Countries hostile to the USA. Is it also true that Obama has accompanied Farrakhan to Lybia to meet with that Leader, an avowed terrorist? Obama needs to be the target of a thorough investigation by the FBI.

Re: Aveline
I like your reference to "the 4 year marketing Obama infomercial." I have been saying that I don't watch infomercials and I sure as h*** am not going to vote for one.

Froma--Thanks for the article..The first paragraph was perfect-- it was poetry itself. The article and the comments are full of good information--some I will put in my O file. I hope I can pass some of these websites on. (My computer literacy is quite poor.) It might be smart to send some of this information to our super delegates whether they have endorsed someone or not, casually wondering if they had seen this....
In the meantime I will HOPE that somehow soon things will CHANGE.
