by Michael Barone
Many years ago, political scientists came up with a theory that elites lead public opinion. And on some issues, they clearly do. But on some issues, they don't. "Al Gore purchases carbon offsets to compensate for his huge mansion and private jet travel)" however it wasn't mwntioned that he buys the carbon credits from a company in which he has a financial interest. A nice big scam from a typical snake oil salesman.

EXCELLENT WRITING!! RIGHT SQUARE ON THE HEAD!!! But regardless, its what the "PEOPLE" do on ELECTION DAY that counts. And repeatedly, its there they throw all common sense & brains to the wind & RE-VOTE these Whack-jobs RIGHT BACK IN! So while I fault the Politicians, only up to a point. It is the PEOPLE who elect them!! Clearly then, the "majority" of AMERICAN VOTERS r truly as worthless & "lacking" as the Politicians they elect - with plenty of "mouth" and attitude too... Oh boy, can they shout & yell & slander & opinion! But do the RIGHT Thing? NAHHHHHH. thats where THEY stop short too! And the worthless Politicians just laugh... all the way to the Bank!
*** TO THE BIG-MOUTH MAJORITY THEN, REMEMBER THESE WORDS: "UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES".
