Ma'am, I called my microsoft to get a license for an upgrade I had to load on a computer to bypass a virus... The license cost more than a program bought new, and the person I talked to sounded like an Indian, but said she was in the Fillopines, and was probably working for peanuts... What ever her cut was, was likely no more than her actual costs, but as you see, that did not lower the price... Bill Gates has got it made... No wonder he wants to help the world...If he didn't he would only be your average slaver...Thanks...Sweeney

I use the word outsourcing (=offshoring) to mean that
companies are contracting for work to be done overseas.
I use the word insourcing to mean importing foreign
workers to the U.S., via H-1b visas, for example.
This article seems muddled in making the distinction.
But, if Froma Harrop's statement of the policy
of the incoming Obama admin is correct, Obama and
his people are even more muddled.
