Dear Walter Williams. Excellent Article. Politicians are 'Takers' .......not 'Creators!' You're absolutely right 'Obama should have declined the Nobel Peace Prize!' It's amazing that Obama has done absolutely nothing for America let alone to accept the Nobel Peace Prize! Spending Taxpayers money and Healthcare disaster, must have been the criteria for this Prize, right?
Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that insurance, drug companies and healthcare professionals and others handing out money to politicians has to come to an end. When these companies were 'forced' to give money to the 'CAUSE' (cause local, state, and federal politicians demanded it) America went backwards. Something has got to change as our children and grandchildren are already faced with a debt load they don't deserve because of politicians corruption and greed.
With just a 'click of the mouse' you can really see what these 'blood-sucking ticks' have done to destroy America and they want Taxpayers to think "We're looking out for your best interest!" WRONG! This is why it's time to sell them a one-way ticket to GITMO, taking all their assets to pay off the trillions they've borrowed without Taxpayers consent, and send along to keep them company, local, state, federal prisoners, all social and welfare recipients as these are the people who got some of these 'ticks' elected! Voting Laws should have been changed, long time ago, because if you don't work, live off social and welfare programs, why should you be allowed to vote, cancelling out the Taxpayers! 'THIS IS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE HARD-WORKING PERSON DOING SOME GOOD FOR AMERICA!'
'POLITICIANS AREN'T CZARS (Kings and Emperors they're not), AS EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE CALLING THEM THESE DAYS, THEY'RE A BUNCH OF FLEAS (SCUM BAGS) READY TO POUNCE ON YOU AND FINISH AMERICA OFF!'
WAKE UP, AMERICA!

Dear Professor Williams,
I enjoyed your article and agree with you regarding the Peace Prize embarrassment as you called it. I was further embarrassed as a Catholic to see the US Conference of Catholic Bishops play nice about it by making a congratulations based on the President's race. I wrote about the same if you are at all curious: http://www.examiner.com/x-12191-Detroit-Catholic-Issues-Examiner~y2009m10d26-Catholic-congratulations-to-the-president-on-his-Peace-Prize
As a Catholic, it was sticking my neck out a wee bit to criticize the church but she also needs challenging. Lack of vision and poor leadership as a result is frightening to all of us. I am always glad to hear your voice of reason and clarity!
