Ma'am;... Any black man that gets elected president in this country, considering how many have been lynched or worked to death in the South, may just be counting on his good fortune to carry him through....It does not have to be the worse with that guy...I appreciate that you so called conservatives would love to hang him from a tree, and watch him kick... Everytime you guys tear down a democrat president you tear down the office.... Why should we give the office more respect than you do, when your man is in??? And I mean that seriously... Here is that poor slob trying to save your rotten economy for you, and all you can do is try to hamstring him.... I hope he fails too... When capitalism finally dies the people will be free for the first time in their lives.... They can have democracy... They can have justice...They can have equality; if they can just get rid of capitalism... And there is your friend, Mr. Obama trying to keep everyone in chains, and you can't hate his gut enough... Good for you.... You parasites will feed on anybody...Even your friends....Thanks...Sweeney

Dear Ms. Chavez,
I can't say I could agree with you more in every point and comment you have made. Perhaps I can add my experience 50 years ago to complete the picture. You said "I don't say that Obama is a Communist, but Lenin and Stalin would have loved what Obama is doing." Born in Cuba I was living in Havana January 1, 1959 until I left on June 3, 1960. During the18 months that I lived under Fidel Castro I watched closely the steps he took, what he said, how he said it and his style to keep "the masses rabbled" and creating divisions picking his targets gradually but separately. He destroy every inch of the economic system at a time when the nation was paralyzed economically due to the uncertainty of figuring out Fidel; was he communist or just reformer? The thriving construction industry- in which I was involved - was the first one to be paralyzed. I could not decide if the obvious counterproductive (economic) measures as they were taken were mistakes or intentional. Were they "very stupid", or were they too smart - knowing very well what they were doing? I was a working engineer with a wife and four children and managed to arrange coming to the US with a job and nothing else than what we carried on board the flight. Many friends told me I was crazy. Four months later, in October, Castro nationalized one and all banks, plants, newspapers - everytrhing. Your article has given me a feeling of "deja vus". I hope I'm wrong. There has been no armed revolution taking over, but then, neither has there been one in Venezuela. The trend is inevitably towards some type of socialism as we have to admit that our cherished free economic system has failed by our own doing. God save America!
