Ma'am;...Nothing about the healthcare system will be fixed... All the high cost of health care can be chalked up to waste, and high profits... If the waste is fixed the profits will get higher, and that is all the republicans and most of the democrats will allow... And I must say, it is the end of the most cynical bone in my body that I now wave in your face...I hope they do not fix the healthcare system until it fixes them...I hope this swine flu, or some other pandemic sweeps over us, and points out, once and for all, how corrupt our society is, and how well it fails at providing for our basic needs...People are injured every day because of little or no health care...People lose their jobs and homes every day for lack of good health care..The problem is that the problem is specific to a few, and is not yet general....The extreme costs of union labor results from their desires to provide health insurance which carries the cost for the whole society...If they withdrew from the market the government would be overwhelmed with unanticipated costs...Maligned as they are, the unions may be all that are standing between us and revolution... I hope the health care profits bleed this country, and I hope the waste is never managed...I hope, as long over due as this medicine is, that Mr. Obama fails to reform health care, and that the price of care either breaks the government for the sake of profit, or points out how insane profits KO'd reform... And I hope influenza racks this country, and divides the sick from the healthy along the same lines as the poor and the wealthy... It takes a great force to push history forward some times, and disease is one such force...Change waits upon education, and the people simply are not educated... It is unlikely that dying will cure anyone of ignorance, but survival may help... What do you think???..Thanks...Sweeney
