Hello Ben:
First of all, unlike you, I'm not affiliated with any of the parties; so I can be more objective in my criticism of what you have written.
A couple of your statements from your column left me shaking my head in disappointment.
“Never mind that he was brought up by his white mother, went to a private high school and has spent about as much time facing down serious racism as Mitt Romney.”
Ben, I'm going to take a bit leap here by making the assumption that since Barack went to a private high school it was probably in a predominately white area. From the tone of your column you don't think that the whites at his private school were smart enough to figure out that Barack had some trace of black genes in him.
Therefore it's not taking too much of a leap either to suggest that there is no way he would escape going to such a school without constant racial taunts from the mostly white students. Common sense if you had any, instead of your UCLA and Harvard law degree would've told you that.
Saying that he has faced as much racism as Mitt Romney is at best very insulting.
“Obama is utterly unqualified to be president of the United States.”
Sounds to me like you've got all the goods on him that disqualifies him from such a lofty position. However you failed to mention though whom you thought IS more qualified than he is. Do you think that Mrs. Clinton is qualified? What about Huckabee, or even the eventual GOP nominee John McCain? Or is it Ingraham, Novak, Limbaugh, Coulter, Buchanan, Dobson or even you. Please do share.
It's quite obvious here that he's not your candidate of choice because he's a lefty. I trust that you've been less complimentary to Mrs. Clinton.
