Obama Opting Out of Public Financing a Win for Him and McCain

When is the most recent time a decision by a presidential candidate ended up being good for him and his opponent?

That is certainly the case with Sen. Barack Obama's decision Thursday to become the first candidate since public financing went into effect in 1976 to make the bold move of opting out of it.

The move is a huge help to Sen. John McCain because McCain has cast himself as the fierce independent who is all about reform, even to the point of opposing President George W. B ...

When did Obama ever say he would unconditionally accept Public Financing. I have heard him say he supports it and would talk about it. Someone please send me a link to a video clip that has Obama saying he would accept it (unconditionally)
