If there was one incident that led to the decline in support for the Iraq War at home and abroad, it was the 2004 publication of pictures of U.S. soldiers taunting and abusing prisoners at Abu Ghraib. Those photos, broadcast endlessly into homes around the globe, depicted grinning American soldiers, male and female, next to naked Iraqi prisoners stacked in piles on the floor. Actually Obama seems interested in punishing those who engaged in dishonesty and extreme idiocy in the name of the war on terror.
There were many in the Bush admistration who engaged in dishonesty and extreme idiocy in the name of the war on terror. Cheney was prominent among them.

Ma'am;...Tell the truth if you can handle the truth... Now that the truth has been safely kept from the American people and the world by our president; will you give him your vote, or love his guts??? We do not dare to show our true colors to the world... Who do you think we fool but ourselves??? And why is the right so allergic to the truth??? Do you itch when you touch it??? Does it burn you like acid??? Do you break out??? The truth will set most people free, and some it will throw in prison... My guess is that Mr. Obama is laying his job on the line for your vote, and for a lot of votes he will never get from people who are passionate for torture, and allergic to truth... Thanks...Sweeney
