No More Blank Checks for War

After the assassination of the archduke in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, Austria got from Kaiser Wilhelm a "blank cheque" to punish Serbia. Germany would follow whatever course its ally chose to take. Austria chose war on Serbia. And World War I resulted.
On March 31, 1939, Britain gave a blank check to Poland in its dispute with Germany over Danzig, a town of 350,000 Germans. Should war come, Britain would fight on Poland's side.
Poland refused to negotiate, Adolf Hitler ...

Mr. Buchanan , must not under stand - Adolf Hitler want the world and invaded country after country with the great Tactic of BLitzkrieg which was a creation of General Heina Guderian. It seems that you like most Journalists today distort and twist History in the name of MONEY. Britain had agreement with Poland and declared War with France. THIS IS THE WAY i AM WRITING THE STORY . Sir; It is not just that we have given some one a blank check in the pursuit of our little wars against Islam, but that the check has more rubber in it than a teenager's wallet. But; you better check your paycheck, and figure out who is paying you because I don't think you know whose nose you are stepping on in mentioning Israel. If they can tell us what we are going to know about the middle east conflict, and they can tell us what way to think, don't be surprised if they can get your raggedy old body thrown out with the garbage. Try this on like the religious right: Israel good! Israel very good! Islam Bad. Islam very bad. God loves Israel. Israel can do no wrong! Do you see how easy that is? Get in line with the company mind. Think before you speak. Watch your back. Consider your future if you have one. Thanks. Sweeney
