Re: Marian;...You are a demonstration of displacement... All your anger is justified if the "Annointed one" is the true angry one... From my persective, he is not nearly angry enough... He may look black to the black people, but he does not have the anger of people snatched from their native land, harnassed to a plow, often worked to death, and who, even after the legal fiction of emancipation, were denied civil rights and equality... In spite of Mr. B's usual nonsense, the good will of which he speaks is vapor...There was good will and hope among the liberals, but among republican reactionaries the day will never dawn when they will accept a black man as president, and it is likely that that bunch will never accept a democrat as president...I think they are in the minority, but their consent to the government is essential to its working as it should, or could... I would only hope that the democrats would also give up on the failed process of majority rule, and party rule and obstruct with their whole being the government by republicans... We cannot expect that the world will not take advantage of time while we stand at loggerheads... Yet; why should anyone have peace without their also having justice???If the democrats cannot get what they want from republican government, and the republicans cannot get what they want from democratic government why should we not go to zero, and start over??? At some point, all people have consider the difficulty of fixing the thing as opposed to beginning again...The problem is that no one can have the future but at the price of the past...If people cannot give up one they cannot have the other, but no one can live without a future, and many have died trying to hold vainly onto a failed past...The success of Mr. Nixon was built upon a divided society... He never united us, but drove the wedge of enmity even deeper into our national soul...It is not a wonder that he opened China... No one but a republican could open China because any democrat attempting to do so would have been labled a commie...In just such fashion all foreign affairs under the democrats have been manipulated...Nixon had a secret plan for victory in Vietnam, and after all, he settled for nearly the same deal the United States already had under the democrats... All that criminal did was waste the lives of Americans, and that is par for the course... The Republicans will not spend money for any good this society needs, but they will spend money and lives for the evils no one should afford...I don't say one party is better than the other...It is impossible for organizations to have courage, or honor because these are the attributes of people...Nor can we expect our parties to have intelligence... They do not have the answer... No one who is a product of the form can judge the form... The form works for Mr. Obama... He was elected president... He is an attorney... He went to college...He is not the child of slaves having to lift a slave mentality to raise his social status...What we need most is revolution, and a complete change of forms... What we need most we will never get from our leaders, not our political, our social, or our religious leaders... What we need most we have to make for ourselves... We need to reform our relationship with each other, and not as democrats, or republicans; but as human beings... I can see most republicans as being human, and having human qualities; but they often accept violence as a solution and theft as a virtue... Nixon stole an election that the democrats were all too willing to give away... With Mr. Obama, the situation was reversed...As Lincoln said of one of his generals, the republicans looked like a duck that had been hit on the head... The people are angry enough...The republican and democratic people cannot get beans form their government, not the good, nor the moral leadership... Our taxes are wasted on keeping the monster alive...It is time for a new birth of freedom...Thanks...Sweeney
