Michelle Obama: I'm Still Me
by Connie Schultz
When you're trying to schedule an interview with Michelle Obama, one of the first things you notice is the time zone she navigates.
Regardless of where you are calling from, you will heed Chicago's Central Daylight Time, which probably is best understood as Malia-and-Sasha Time. They are the young daughters of Barack and Michelle Obama. Every interview, every campaign event for their mother is weighed by this test: How will it affect the daily lives of 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old ...

Lord Jeezus in Heaven; do you guys crack me up. What real people have to do to maintain any relationship with their children, and hold a job, and pay to get there would give you rich folks hemeroids all over your bodies. How dedicated of you Mrs. Obama to be there when your children get home from camp. Anything safe that most kids can do now adays is as close to camp as anyone knows. I don't think you rich folks, liberal or conservative, have got the slightest idea how much this place is becoming strickened by poverty, hoplessness and anxiety. We are frustrated. The wealth is being drained from our pockets, and long ago the wealth that past generations built, and left, started to be drained off for good. You government people don't understand that it is not just the morality pushers, and the business people, and the foreign enemies who have wrecked this place; but you guys. I'd hate you if it did not take valuable energy. It is not just that the government does not work because it was not designed to work; but to fail, -that bothers me. It is that no matter how many people we send to Washington, you are all corrupted before you get there. There is no saving you, and there is no saving the government. All we are waiting for is a stiff wind and a lttle gravity to drag your fairy tales out of the clouds. Why not consider what sort of camp you might like to attend. Thanks.... Sweeney

Thank you Connie for another thought provoking, insightfull article. All of my life, I have judged parents by my expierience's with their children. It doesn't take very much time to disern the parent's that take the "extra step" for the young lives that they have created. One of the very first things (after Obama's speach at the last convention) that appealed to me about the values of this man and his wife was their joint love and commitment to their children. The effort that they both go to for their family unit. This, for me is "numero uno". Their love of America and their HOPES for the direction that our great country is capable of going to is just icing on this cake. I am THRILLED BY THE POSSIBILITY OF PRESIDENT OBAMA. I had been a republican since the day I first drew a breadth in Toledo....until the last time I voted for president. AT 60 YEARS YOUNG I AM SO EXCITED OF THE AMERICA, THE GREAT AMERICA, THAT WE CAN AGAIN BE IN THE EYES OF OUR WORLD!

Obama claims not to be a Muslim ... however, I believe, IF he's not he is certainly a Muslim Sympathizer. For one example, why did he give his daughters Muslim first names?
